6 Beer Festivals You Won’t Want to Miss

This spring, you can celebrate the coming of summer with a host of great beer and music events. With tons of local craft brews on draft, these festivals give you the best of both worlds: a taste of summer while you celebrate spring skiing on the slopes with great food and drink. 

March 30 | Hops on the Snow, Okemo

Check out this one-day beer festival, held on the snow in the Jackson Gore Courtyard at Okemo. The mountain will be serving a variety of new seasonal and craft beers while skiers enjoy spring conditions. Stick around for live music and barbecue in the afternoon.

March 30 | 24th Annual Smuggs’ Brewfest, Part 2, Jeffersonville

Enjoy samples from Two Roads Brewing, Stone Brewing, 14th Star Brewing Company, Zero Gravity at more at this springtime beer festival at Smugglers’ Notch. A DJ will play from 6-10 p.m. in the Meeting House.

March 30 | 11th Annual Mount Snow Winter Brewers’ Festival, Mount Snow

Celebrate springtime, live music and beer at this awesome event at Mount Snow. Sample brews from 20+ breweries, pouring 50 types of beer and cider while Jeff Tuohy Band rocks out on an outdoor stage.

April 20 | Nor’Beaster Bud Light Dazed and Defrosted, Killington

Killington hosts this super fun one-day music and beer festival to celebrate all things spring, soft bumps and cold beer. Don’t miss the on-snow demos and great live music from Reggae bands Passafire and Annie in the Water.

May 18 | The Stowe Craft Brew Races, Stowe

Head to Stoweflake for this celebration of all things local brewing and being active. Each event consists of a timed 5K road race followed by a local 3-hour craft beer festival featuring more than 20 local, regional and national breweries.

May 25 | 7th Annual Brattleboro Brewers Festival, Brattleboro

Enjoy more than 100 taps of craft beer and ciders along with a few wine and spirit samples from across Vermont in a beautiful setting: a gorgeous organic farm. Eat great food from local food truck vendors and catch music from The Blues for Breakfast Band.
