Snowboarders race a technical slalom course down Bear Mountain with curves, knolls and drops. killington.com

3-4 | Smugglers’ Notch Extreme, Smugglers’ Notch Resort

Some of the best (or simply bravest) skiers take on some of the narrowest, most challenging terrain: The Madonna headwall, an ungroomed steep with a double fall line descent filled with cliffs, bumps, trees, chutes, and stumps. 4 | Pico Skimo, Pico Mountain
