3rd Annual First Tracks Photo Comp

With a forecast looking good for potential snow toward the month, we’re happy to kick off our third annual First Tracks Photo Contest.

Here’s how it works:

1. MAKE SOME TURNS. They have to be in Vermont and made between Oct. 5 and Nov. 10. 

2. EMAIL your best shots to editor@vtskiandride.com with the subject line: FIRST TRACKS.  Your  photo must be taken between October 5 and November 15, 2017 of early season skiing or riding in Vermont. Include where the image was taken (mountain and trail name) and, if possible, who the skier or rider is.

3. VOTE EARLY & OFTEN: We’ll post the top selections on our Vermont SKI + RIDE Facebook page the week of Nov. 10. Those with the most “likes” will move into the finals.

 4. HOLD YOUR BREATH. From the finals, a winner will be selected by a panel of professional photographers (and skiers/riders) and announced in our e-newsletter on Nov. 15.

Prize includes: $100 for first place, plus publication in the next issue of VT SKI + RIDE magazine. Plus, a selfie stick “The Pole” and lift tickets. We’re working on prizes for runners-up so stay tuned!
