Vermont Ski + Ride was honored to be nominated for ten awards at the 2017 New England Newspaper & Press Association Newspaper Convention. In the largest and most comprehensive awards program in the Northeast, NENPA honors journalistic excellence in newspapers, online platforms and niche publications (that’s us!).

Best Overall Website: Explore away! We tied for second.
Best Overall Design: We think this issue is especially pretty. The judges gave us third for last year’s issues.
Best Pictorial Photo: Congratulations to Brian Mohr whose lead photo (shown above) from last winter’s photo essay The Joy of Snow earned him second place.
